Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee Do not join Verkada if you think this company is going to improve your development as a Sales Rep in any way. The mantra here is to effective build up a pool of glorified BDRs and use your Sales Managers to close the deals.
Strategy and Leadership is essentially all US based a knock on effect of this means that Verkada EMEA only contributes to less than 5% of total global revenue, probably less. The company did nearly $500m revenue last year, EMEA closed just over $10m. Read into that how you will but this company will go nowhere with the current US leadership running the EMEA office.
Product is great but only suits the SMB mid-market atm, cusotmers love the concept and the free trial we offer, however, closing deals now takes twice as long and are half the size to what they were a year ago.
Sales reps normally have 2 quarters to hit target once fully ramped [which takes around 3 quarters]. Good luck trying to close $100k+ worth of business in a quarter where deals are so small each time. Expect around 4 fired a quarter, be it from Sales, AAE or BDR.
