Definitely a good place make some money however, the uncertainty of the company’s direction seems to have an effect on the culture and the overall outlook of the role. If you can get away from the water cooler talk you’ll be fine.

Training and conferences were annoying because it was just a rah rah fest but obviously good to know and pitch company strengths. Training was more product driven with solution selling but didn’t cover more advanced holistic approaches to really build authentic rapport and undercover challenges of potential client

This is an excellent entry sales role. Verizon goes deep into training on selling and focusing on the 6-step sales process. You will meet alot of people who are driven and wanting to develop and also those who are there to just collect a paycheck. Find a store with a good management team, and you will succeed.
