VMware has very little sales DNA. It is bloated with overall poor sales leadership. Culture is inclusive and accepting, but lacks the fire to annihilate competition. Compensation has two caps. It was amazing pre broadcom acquisition, broadcom killed vmware, the culture & our care for customers and the tech. They now only care about top 10% of customers so if you worked Midmarket you could no longer take care of customers.
