It is a highly niche market where Tulip fits. They are for discrete manufacturers, who have highly complicated problems they need to fix. If they already invested in S4Hana or a similar system then they are $1M plus in that investment. Getting them to change or try anything new within the first 5 years of that investment is extremely challenging especially if they're implementation is not going well because then they are afraid to try anything else.

Tulip is poorly managed with less than 10% of reps hitting quota and huge pressure from an embedded cult of middle management. Amazing, amazing product. But couple the low quota with a terrible base, and this quickly becomes a “pass” for any smart rep. Expecting 70% (seriously) turnover this year in the sales team.

I love working here. The team atmosphere is great. Leadership seems to know what they're doing. Most importantly the product is actually good and sticky. I just wish the base was higher since the sales cycles can be long, often months if not a year +.
