I was told that there were more inbound and internet leads than they could handle. I was also told we’d be walking in neighborhoods to visit current customers to upsell/cross-sell them on other products.
Reality: no leads — it’s all door knocking with the attempt to get someone into their yard and show them problem areas. We were encouraged to visit areas with marked “No Solicitation” signage.
We were also told not to knock the doors of current customers.
Expectations were also not communicated during interview that we were expected to be out in the field until 6 or 7pm and our movements monitored like lab rats on GPS tracking apps. Also expected to work in “all of the elements”.
Base salary is only $37,500
