Back to ReviewsFormer Employee TriNet is an HR outsourcing company, and like most HR outsourcing companies, it has terrible HR practices for its employees. I broke my shoulder on a sales call in an ice storm and had a manager who wanted to know what my “plan B” was to hit my quota since I couldn't drive a car to appointments. I suggested I could video conference, and he responded, “It wasn't his job to heal me.” I spent the next three months dealing with his attempts to fire me. HR was no help in many ways. They allowed this to continue until I got a lawyer. The sales managers were terrible. One even went to prison for unspeakable acts. It was a very stressful environment for me and my family. I wouldn't wish them on my enemies. The product offering is for small startups with young employees. All other companies will never get through underwriting since you are a glorified insurance salesman at the end of the day.
Trinet is the reason why I changed industries so I would never work for a sales manager that worked for a payroll company in the past. If you worked for one you'd know why.
