How would you rate the sales management team at Tableau in terms of providing coaching and professional development opportunities for sales representatives? Based on your experience with sales leadership, would you recommend working at Tableau?

I have been here a few years and still dont know how to use Tableau, I think development is on a team by team basis

Pretty terrible training and enablement. Had to learn everything myself. The reimbursement is true.

The retail team, even in Enterprise/Strategic, are overly micromanaging sales processes. I'd look elsewhere where management has more time to help develop skills.

Tableau/Salesforce has good training and enablement opportunities that the management team is supportive of.  They also provide reimbursement for certain Sales training programs taken individually.

I would stay away from Retail unless you could land on enterprise. 
HLS and Finance are doing pretty well during my time there.
Training your on your own there's resources available from "Sales enablement team" or knowledge from people who work there. If your leader is come's from Salesforce culture VS Tableau that is good. 
Tableau folks and leadership live in a bubble and still think selling tableau is the same as it was back when they were the hottest product on the market. You want to work for a leader who know's how to sell the salesforce way and can help you navigate selling with your Core reps who own the account.
