What does the ramp and training process look like at T-Mobile for new sales team members? Were you able to hit the ground running after completing it?

Ramp and training is a 9-week process in which for the first 2 weeks you do virtual training and get acclimated to all the tools and systems. Week 3 you travel for in-person training for a week to Frisco, TX. For weeks 4-8 you have 3-4 hours per day of virtual training and the rest of the time is yours to prospect, build a funnel and sell. Week 9 is another week of training in person in Frisco, again. After that you are on your own. This was a very easy transition but the general sentiment was that it was almost too much training, but you're getting free commission for training, so no complaints there. As long as you spend your time out of training actually prospecting and building a funnel, you will be able to hit the ground running.

It really depends on your market and what kind of market share they have. In my market its been a uphill climb since day one but this is a tier 3 market where we have 5% or less customer base. I'm in the heartland of country music to give you a hint. (FYI been in role for 2 years)

It depends on the role. Speaking from the SMB space o would say ramp is decent. It’s 3 months long. First month is 100% at risk then 75% 2 months and 50% you’re last ramp month. Those are the month where you want to double dip and get a nice $5k-$10k check.
