Back to ReviewsFormer Employee Stryker is a solid company with a great overall culture. They are a huge market leader and there is a lot of opportunity to move within the company.
The company's strength is also one of its biggest problems--leadership is extremely ambitious and career-centric. It's a culture where many in leadership roles primarily care about moving to the next rung of the corporate ladder.
Most leaders in my experience don't want to disrupt too much or put too much energy into solving glaring problems. Leaders also move around business units so much for advancement that you often get new leaders with zero experience in the current business unit.
Also- sales reps in certain divisions do not receive any day to day expenses paid by the company. This is absolutely ridiculous, especially for reps with large territories that require overnight stays. It's an example of where Stryker leaders are very out of touch and lack the willingness to think critically outside of blanket policies. Browse Other Reviews
