Back to ReviewsFormer Employee My overall experience was positive. I grew an expansion territory in a highly competitive market where my division of Stryker was not the local leader. To do well in this role you have to own the entire sales cycle, network with other cross divisional counterparts in the field, and expect very large growth numbers when annual quotas are set. Like any big company, there are growing pains. The people are top tier and a flexible schedule can be earned after year(s) of grinding/ hitting the pavement. This is a role that demands presence in the OR at both hospitals and surgery centers, and requires the rep to be available by phone at any given moment, but it is encouraged that reps schedule vacations and time with loved ones. Stryker promotes diversity and inclusion and has ways to be a leader within subcommittees, mentorship programs, etc. A great living can be made, but if you miss your annual quota 1-2 times you will likely be put on a performance plan.
