Yikes - everything looks pretty bad but the Culture and Leadership score for Spot AI looks the worst, why is it so bad?

We've had some past struggles that brought our reviews down. However, we've course corrected and the team is feeling more confident with those positive changes.

We're a true startup, and things have changed often to keep our sales motion aligned to our new product offerings and features, and to enable us to focus on the right customers. Momentum is strong, and we're seeing significant improvement in the way we're all coming together to build on the foundations. The energy on the team is growing and infectious, and we're optimistic that the scores here will be improving as we see ongoing success!

Where to begin... VP is a joke. To give you an example - he pushed us for outbound outreach hard. Which is totally fine and part of any full sales cycle AE position. However, one week the floor didn't have as many dials as needed. The following Monday, in the sales all hands, he publicly called out everyone who didn't hit the target dials and wanted an explanation. One guy literally fainted from sickness on Sunday so he took Monday and Tuesday off. (Front line manager was notified in all these explanations.) Another guy had to take his daughter to the hospital when she woke up and had a 105 degree fever and a bloody nose. The next day, his wife threw up 6 times so he took her to the hospital as well. Another guy literally pulled out his phones calendar and showed how many discovery and demos he had. His calendar was clearly jam packed. But all the VP cared about was outreach. Then he laid off new hires that were still ramping and had the audacity to walk them out on the last day and say "I know big things are headed your way. Let me know if you need a reference." He also doubled the price of the software even though it's somewhat bare bones in comparison to competitors. Or at least was at the time. Lastly, I'll just say you can make a lot of money at Spot. The commission pay out is very lucrative. But when the guy who closes the largest company deal ever (3+ million) and makes 300-350k on the check, still ends up leaving a few months later, you know it's a bad situation at the organization.
