Former Employee My overall experience was ok. There are certainly some very smart and capable people at SF, who can combine intelligence with a great sense of hustle and grit.
Compensation is pretty good, although SPIFF's were starting to decrease over the past 18 months.
Above all else though, the role of an Enterprise AE is very territory dependent, and if you're not given the right mix of good+bad accounts, then it will often equate to not hitting your number. Management knows this, and can be pretty selective in who they want to provide cover for, and who they want to let starve in a barren wasteland.
