Question

So I'm considering boomeranging back to Salesforce in a sales role. However, part of the reason I left is I suspected the customer was not going to pay their invoices. Well it turns out this turned into a clawback. If I return will this be sitting in my Xactly account?

Wow, that's a good one.  You left before the clawback and they never came after you?  Are we talking tens of thousands?  How long ago was it?  I don't have an answer; however, I would say that if it's been more than a year and they never came after you after you left, you should be ok.

I had a friend who left SF because they were about to be hit with a clawback. They came back 2 years later and it hit their Xactly. Up to you but I 100% would suggest not going back if it’s going to be a big financial burden.

Honestly to be sure, you should check with an attorney or look at the laws in your state to see if it is legal for them to do that.  The bigger question you should also consider is why do you want to come back now?  Have you spoken to people at the company now in the same kind of role you want to come back for?  The environment here is tremendously toxic at the moment and I do not know many ppl in a sales role that are happy at the moment.  The culture you remember is dead, the Ohana is dead.  Do you know the leader you may be aligned to because if you don't get an amazing one, your mental health will suffer in the current atmosphere.  I know many, many AEs that are looking for jobs at other companies because it has gotten so bad here.  Do your research before you decide you want to jump back into this horrible current culture.
