Question

As an external interviewing at SF, any insight on the following role? 
Named Account Executive, Mid-Commercial- High Tech , Core AE role

Is mid commercial considered mid market or general business?
Does the high tech division hit targets?
What should OTE look like?

It looks like you'll have ~100 named accounts in the High Tech verticle.  "Core" means you'll be responsible for selling all of SF's solutions; however, you'll have Specialists to help you w/ most of them.  
I believe Mid Commercial is 200-1000 full-time employees, but, I could be wrong.  That changes.
Your bag will probably have a few existing customers and a lot of greenfield. 
I don't see where you are, San Francisco or Calgary?  That may determine if you'll hit your target.  I've always found it useful to ask the hiring manager what happened to the previous rep.  Then during the interview process, ask to speak to a teammate and ask them the same question and see what response you get.  Also, you can use LinkedIn Navigator to find the previous rep (if they aren't still with Salesforce) and reach out to them.  That's exactly what I did.  Good luck.

EU based SFDC AE here - High tech would be a lot of SaaS companies, usually a pretty decent vertical to be in. I've had great success in the last few years in this vertical. Has its ups and downs like all verticals, but potential to work with interesting companies and close some good sized deals ($300-$1M+ TCV). Not sure how AMER region is doing, we are getting hit hard here in Europe currently. Q2 has been tough so far.

Im in the ENT High Tech space and truth be told it’s tough right now and has been for the last 2-3 years. I’ve had stellar years but I would say only 30-35% actually hit their quota and the three “T’s” (Timing, Talent & Territory) couldn’t be truer so do your best to get a high base & sign on.

The other answer is mostly right. The Named Account Executive, Mid-Commercial- High Tech, Core AE is my current role.

You'll probably have ~8 accounts and Mid-market in the high-tech space doesn't have any greenfield accounts.  They will all be current customers and your quota will be on expansion.

Mid-Commercial is more mid-market but at Salesforce there are lots of verticals. OTE is probably ~$190k - ~$210k.

MMKT is MMKT. There is a Gen Biz position above that before going into ENT.

High tech, with few exceptions, was pretty bad when I was there. All the companies were laying off people and cutting budgets. So you can imagine how much of a bloodbath it was.
