What can you tell me about the sales culture at SailPoint?

I don't feel much difference in the culture post acquisition.  As others have said, it's really about what segment of the company you join at this point.  As a sales person, I think the culture is great - lots of support when you have a fish on the line.  Obstacles are removed out of your way, and we are easy to do business with for the end customer.  If you believe culture starts at the top, we have one of the highest quality human beings leading our company IMO.

You work with fantastic people. Almost every manager I have every had at SailPoint has been a joy to work for.

The interesting thing about SailPoint culture is that it is very relational. As we have grown, we are relying more on processes and that has taken a hit on the culture because we are relying less on working with the same people we have known for years.

I am also seeing a lot less ownership across the people I work with. There is a lot of "this is not my job" and you get pushback when you ask for basic stuff internally. It is just unnecessary and frustrating as a seller because I am ultimately responsible for everything. It just means I have less time to focus on selling.

It really depends on the manager and region you are working in. I love the company and product but found that I wasn't a great fit in my region.
