SPS Commerce tends to hire younger individuals, which results in limited representation of employees over 35. There has not been a pay increase in over two years, regardless of performance or tenure, and compared to the rest of the market, the compensation is below average. Quotas for this year are unattainable, causing the majority of the sales organization to struggle. SPS has a good product but cannot implement anything, which makes upsell and retaining customers hard. If you have a good year, you can expect your quota to increase significantly. With a new CEO and a reorganization this year, we will see what changes are to come.

Unfortunately, SPS will raise your quota to the extreme when you hit over 100% the previous year to avoid paying you out in accelerators. I hit over 150% in 2023, and they raised my quota by 258% for 2024 with the same OTE as 2023.
