My experience at Soci was disappointing. Accounts were constantly shuffled and mid quarter changes like introducing an Inside Sales Rep team disrupted earning potential. Leadership also changed the comp structure mid quarter leaving many employees with significantly reduced income. Since the Boston team joined the culture has become cliquey making it hard to grow especially if you’re not part of the Boston group or a person of color. Q3 2024 was rough leading to widespread layoffs instead of addressing deeper structural issues. SOCI has potential but it needs serious work on inclusion, stability and supporting employee growth. It use to be such a great place to work but it has lost its culture and leadership does not care about anything but going public.

Overall my experience has not been great, a lot of internal issues and company politics are creating difficulties in getting deals done and causing a lot of distractions.

The SDR position is tough. it is 100% outbound. Depending on your vertical there may be no warm leads. You are expected to hit activity metrics such as 50 calls per day. there is no clear path for promotions just work your ass off and maybe your day will come or maybe it won’t.
