I was with the Kompyte business unit. The product is vastly inferior to Klue + Crayon. The Sales team had 12 head to head deals with Klue in Q1 and lost all of them. The CEO and COO don't know what they're doing and are scared for their jobs. They have a habit of randomly firing people and blaming them for the current quarter's numbers. Product is bad, go to market strategy is bad, and leadership is DEFINITELY bad. I don't want to write a novel so I'll end things here. Take an AE job here if you're desperate but otherwise, stay away and look for greener pastures.

Very low base pay. Commission incentives have decreased month over month by changing the quotas 3 times in 6 months. The writing on the wall that focus is being put on MM/ENT reps/clients

Semrush isn't the organization to join right now regarding a sales role. Incentives have been significantly reduced, quotas have increased 2-3 times in the last 3 months alone, compensation plans are changed the same month or even halfway through the month without any real rhyme or reason other than leadership wants to increase the Average Deal Size or prevent paying...Read More
