SAS was a great company when sales incentives were aligned to what Rep’s were asked to sell. Over the past few years, the compensation plan has changed drastically with Reps being required to sell Software, Hosting and Services (as always) but they are now only comped on Software and Hosting. Culture within individual teams is still strong but the company overall is struggling to maintain it’s reputation as a best place to work as they prepare for IPO.

The Firm is ok to work for but most of the Team will never meet quota due to low demand and very complex solution to sell. Company only lives of the success from the last 20 years. Promising new solution on the way but the clients would rather stick with the old therefore no urgency to switch.

Horrible work culture. Leadership completely broken. Rampant office politics; no growth. People stuck in same role for 10+ years.
