-IBM is starting to take over -Red Hat was a good place to be from when i started in 2020 until mid 2022. - IBM has started to force layoffs, first announced in early 2022 -Quotas are astronomical, no one is achieving anything close to comission -Unreal pressure from leadership to deliver with unreasonable expectations -Red Hat was delivering 15% + growth for IBM every quarter after they got bought in 2018 up until Q4 of 2022 and that number is now down to 8% growth. -IBM is also starting to take more products away from Red Hat with little notice and reps will no longer get paid on those products regardless of the deal status.

Overall my experience at Red Hat has been great! Great company and great people and a great culture. Slightly underpaid for the positions, but culture helps with that. Also the last couple of years quota has been very high. Majority of the reps are not hitting. I've crushed it two years in a row, but I'm exception

My overall view is Red Hat is a very well run organization. Technology is well suited for the market with tremendous brand recognition. The difficulty lied in alignment of goal with realistic account segmentation, especially in the enterprise space. As this evolves, the opportunity will be greater for the account executives and Red Hat overall.
