I really enjoyed my position until about a year ago. Quickbase is trying to get sold (it's no secret), but in 2023 they've repeatedly made cuts that hurt employees (and customers) in order to boost profits/cash. These changes include a sudden shift to unlimited PTO, not doing merit-based raises or mid-year promotions, changing pricing plans, cutting benefits, and eliminating travel budgets for team gatherings. Hopefully, they sell soon so they can focus again on long-term sustainable growth.

Good company with a solid market fit. A lot of change at the moment is making it difficult to understand company trajectory. I do think they will come out better on the other side, but growing pains can be challenging.
