The quotas and promotion paths are incredibly difficult to achieve. There are some incredible sales leaders who care deeply about their reps. The executive team's primary focus of the company has trended to be on the product/product development and not on the sales organization over the last couple of years. This company focus on the product requires a sales rep to be constantly adapting to new product launches, have the ability to simplify a complex product in a manner that will make sense to the customer, have a high level of sales acumen coming into the company, and full autonomy over your calendar with little structure on your day to day operations, while being expected to achieve high performance expectations.
