My overall experience was a mixed bag. I enjoy my coworkers but I do not enjoy the compensation plan or the lack of empathy from management. It's a fun work environment and you will not be micromanaged but there are not a lot of opportunities to succeed. Very few people make their sales targets and the base salary is far below the national average in tech.

Poor executive leadership and management. Pay is not market competitive and they try and hire ground level so they can not pay market rates. They care more about the stock price than trying to keep any successful and strong employees. Marketing is pushing trigger words but the support and costs don't support what they are trying to sell.

During my time PL felt as if it was going through an identity crisis. Trying to be all things to all customers. They have a great model as long as the customer can adjust to fit within the PL manufacturing process.
