Poor executive leadership and management. Pay is not market competitive and they try and hire ground level so they can not pay market rates. They care more about the stock price than trying to keep any successful and strong employees. Marketing is pushing trigger words but the support and costs don't support what they are trying to sell.

During my time PL felt as if it was going through an identity crisis. Trying to be all things to all customers. They have a great model as long as the customer can adjust to fit within the PL manufacturing process. Messy org overall. Performance doesn't matter as much as hitting your KPIs. If you are performing and made your calls, well....you can still make more calls! Heavy micro-management culture.
