Amazing base salary + commission that you WILL have to consistently earn by working 70 hr weeks, on PTO, and on weekends. Whether you are in outside sales or account management, they will ask you to do 4 jobs in 1, and give you implementation tasks that hinder sales velocity. In current accounts, you are a punching bag for current clients who have had bad support experiences and management will not back you up. 100% in person culture, butts in seats no matter what. Only about 10% of reps are successful this year, the rest are on a PIP due to unrealistic expectations, weekly metrics for 6 week deal cycles. Just be prepared to grind and go elsewhere.

Paycom recruits top talent with the expectation they fail. Be prepared for unrealistic metrics and high turnover. If you’re confident and willing to bet on yourself it may be the position for you. Otherwise, stay away from this toxic workplace.

Very cut-throat environment. Either perform or else. Definitely seen as a number. It's a lucrative opportunity, but it comes with a cost. Ask yourself what you're willing to sacrifice for the financial/professional gain. Your territory could be 2-3 hours away and it's required to take meetings in person.
