The comp plans this year make it clear to the reps that they are just a number and if you do not like - good luck finding a better job elsewhere. Tech firms know that the job market is tough and they are deliberately paying people as little as possible. It is clear as day and totally unnecessary since most are beating targets across the board. Obnoxious of executives to do this.

The compensation structure for sales engineers was borderline corrupt. The managers got to decide how much "sales bonus" an individual should get as sales engineering was comp'd on the country number and not on the sales number of their respective account managers. This led to a lot of favoritism. Also, there were hardly any annual increments.
