Positive overall experience at Oracle with great flexibility and work/life balance. Products are strong but can be expensive for many customers in current economic environment. Some teams and territories and much better than others. When promoted as an internal hire, compensation and OTE after the promotion tends to be lower than an outside hire in the same role.

Watch out sharks can smell the blood in the water so watch out for other pillars inside Oracle.

My Oracle experience is positive thanks to good management and a decently fruitful territory. My job is a license compliance role and less of a traditional sales role so the experience can be much different for other lines of business. Team, territory, and timing unfortunately are the biggest factors that will weigh on your success.
