Are quotas at Oracle realistic and achievable for sales professionals? Have they trended upwards or downwards in the past few quarters?

It depends on what vertical you are selling into and what level (smb, mid market, enterprise). At the Enterprise level my first year I hit my number on expansion of current customers alone. inside sales teams are also selling on your accounts that you get credit for. 2nd year quota doubled.

During my tenure (10 years ago), the quotas were out of line with too much reliance on new SaaS cloud deals that Larry Ellison was touting. So it was not easy to make commissions. Probably 25% made quota.

very high quotas in general, especially hard to achieve in Tech Cloud Inside Sales SMB. I guess only 15-20% of colleagues in Europe get close to 100%, rarely exceed 100%. Mostly dependent on timing and territory, not your skill.

What do you mean "at Oracle"? There are thousands of sales reps, dozens of divisions. Apps, tech, middleware? SMB, enterprise? named accounts or geographic/market segmentation? Netsuite?

It's not your fault, an organization like Oracle is impossible to get a read on with repvue or glassdoor because it doesn't segment or divide in ways that would matter.

An enterprise cloud tech role vs an SMB apps role are basically like you're working for different companies.
