Current Employee Okta is a great company to have on your resume. A lot of things have changed since I’ve onboarded some for the better but honestly most are for the worst. Higher up leadership is very out of touch and makes decisions without true R&D. I’m talking decisions that are life altering for xDRs and no remorse for failure or acknowledgement that they screwed up. Higher ups stress us about being in office 3 days a week but they only step foot in a the offices once a quarter. My direct manager is a huge reason my team and I have somewhat of a decent experience with Okta.
Okta prides itself on transparency but when we have all hands or something similar it’s all fluff from the higher ups.
In my opinion Okta doesn’t nearly pay there xDRs enough - I can go on and on.
Now with that being said Okta is still the leader in the market space and the product we’re selling is very valuable It’s a great place to start out as an BDR but I don’t think it’s worth going thru BDR - SDR - AE or leadership based on so far
