The company is great at what they do in the financial services space. It is 100% commission and there is a lot of money to be made. I personally wasn't a fan of selling to my initial market of those around me.

My experience at New York Life taught me a lot about how insurance companies can be, the highs and the lows. Great leadership culture, but terrible selling mechanism- social selling. There's potential to earn great money as an insurance agent with NYL, but you have to do a lot of volume in prospecting.
