How strict are they when it comes to in office?   Does the vertical you're assigned to dictate your success - if so what is the best and worst vertical (mid-market segment)?  In previous comments in was 5% hit - if that's the case, what is the pip culture like?

I’ve been at NetSuite for 4 years. Nobody hits their number unless you’re in the corporate sector. Remote work is tolerated pretty well depending on your manager and where you are located but don’t expect to get promoted. Pips come when your manager doesn’t like you and you aren’t making effort.

In-office policy varies quite a bit by team. Some teams work in office regularly, some only when multiple team members are in town, some almost never. As far as success, you will most likely be lucky to hit “participation” metrics across mid-market, let alone quota. OTE is mostly a pipe dream.

- Return to office (sales org) : depends directly from your SVP. Usually it's hybrid 2-3 days in the office per week. No negotiation just imposition.
- Vertical and success: depends more on your market/region I would say. Ofc, some verticals (SW, Financial services) are more "successful" compared to others (e.g. manufacturing).

Others have responded to the flexibility of remote work. I will emphasize that promotions/new hires have a higher success  you are in office at least 2-3 days a week. As far as vertical - it really depends on you’re prospecting skills and experience. Don’t expect BDR’s to get you to quota.
