Are there regular changes to the compensation plan for sales representatives at Oracle Netsuite? How are sales territories assigned within the company?

Sales territories are open, so if you're on a "central" team in a certain vertical any AE (there could be 20-30 depending on the industry vertical) can add an account to his/her name.  Can be tough for a new hire coming in to build a list from scratch from the accounts that have been picked over

Changes in accounts happen every fiscal year. There is an emerging, mid market and corporate group. Emerging is not vertical specific. Mid market and corporate are segmented into general business. high tech etc. Contract value determines which group the account is assigned to. - Account Manager

My comp plan changed twice and my territory changed 3X in a calendar year while at NS. Not a lot of concern for stability.

You come in with an assigned territory, and it's split into Central, West, East (approx. 16 states per region). There is no going outside of the territory without violating ROE. 
The changes to comp plan happen at the start of every new fiscal year in which you resign your commission plan. The changes typically have to do with increasing quota, while decreasing commission percentage (I know..probably the exact opposite of what you want to hear).

No Netsuite almost never changes their comp plan.  Goal is based on salary.  When your salary goes up your goal goes up for the most part.  Netsuite is an open territory model based on vertical.  So if you are in products and the east and mid market then you can work any mid market accounts that aren't in someone's name already that are in any of the east states.
