NetApp’s ability to support ONTAP running across Hybrid Multi-Cloud was a major differentiator but they have moved back to focussing on on-premise flash devices. The pay plans are inconsistent so there is lots of channel conflict between teams. They also appear to be trying to improve their diversity statistics by making males over 50 redundant across EMEA.

Leadership has lost touch with the field and seems to be transitioning to a value stock organization from a growth organization. Compensation is affected because they are so worried they will overcompensate anyone they are under compensating most.
