What is the current sales team culture like at Mulesoft, and have there been any recent changes?

Unfortunately, it is being destroyed.  The culture was amazing when I started but Salesforce has replaced almost the entire leadership team with leaders from the Marketing Cloud side of the business.  The result has been a high-pressure, super stressful experience.  I know several MuleSoft AEs that have either left the company or are in the process of looking for a new job.  It is so bad that many of them are leaving significant deals on the table because the leadership has become so bad.  One person left 4 weeks before a deal closed that they had worked on, which would have gotten them to 200% of quota.  When I spoke to the person, they told me that it just wasn't worth it anymore to work here and their mental health was more important.

I would stay away from MuleSoft and Salesforce for the foreseeable future.  The company has gone down a path where revenue (ACV) is the only thing they care about and the customer and employee are not valued anymore.

Pretty toxic since it turned into Salesforce.  The slow growth of CRM puts a lot of pressure on the growth BU’s  like Mule.  Further mule has always been a slow sales cycle and the business wants fast results so it’s turning into a place where you miss a quarter twice you are out.

One of the worst cultures I've ever experienced. Leadership is toxic to the point of disrespectful and punishes you when you get a good opportunity. They swoop in and basically takes over the deal, dictating how to run it and even cutting the rep out of meetings. Constantly shifting priorities to chase this,  now chase that, now focus here...it's almost impossible to maintain focus on anything.
