They continually change metrics for bonus compensation and have taken away the commission structure leaving most of pay to discretionary bonuses which are far more opaque and significantly lower the top end of compensation. Much harder to be motivated but overall it’s a very manageable job if you can deal with large swings in expectations from upper management.
