Strong product-market fit, great training & development and end-users really do love the product. Attainment does depend on your territory and account patch and deal cycles anywhere from 3-6 months usually. Inbound leads are non-existent, micromanagement is common, quota attainment isn’t strong, limited sense of job security & overall morale could be higher. Could be attributed to growing pains/organizational changes.

MongoDB is going through a pivot currently, moving towards a purely consumption based model that is great for customers and the company. How this affects reps seems tbd.

Massive changes to 2023 compensation plans have largely eliminated ability to W2 $1m+. Changes were done with limited notice and many teams caught flat footed.
