Quota is extremely hard to achieve now a days. Quotas are given out without a lot of thought behind them. A lot of reps feeling discouraged or leaving.

Medline is a great company for someone who is wanting to get their feet wet in medical sales. There has been a lot of changes to leadership as of late. Medline continues to grow at a high mark but this does cause some challenges. High turnover and the fact that it is growing creates a lot of new positions.

Great for a new rep but I would highly recommend looking for other companies once you have sales experience. They are pushing out veteran reps in place for fresh out of school reps

Commission percentage fluctuates based on profitability of products sold. Margins are often tight, sometimes even negative so average commission percentage was 2 percent. In addition the house draw is aggressive. My house draw currently eats 85% of my commissions. So even at plan (hitting quota) I’d make 64k in commission for the year.
