Quota is attainable, yet challenging, and management provides their teams with ample resources to reach their fullest potential. The Iterable team is as supportive and kind as it gets!
However, while the company emphasizes internal mobility and various career paths, the pace of moving down these paths is slow and inconsistent. Management genuinely does want to empower their employees with the freedom to adjust their careers, but actually making this happen takes creativity and commitment. Promotion speeds vary heavily by career (sales, marketing, engineering, etc), but for sales, moving from an SDR position to an AE role is not an easy feat. To successfully achieve this, an SDR will need to develop their personal brand such that AE's and AE Managers are pushing for a promotion, and SDR's will also need to work within two market segments before being considered for a promotion. Best-case scenario, this will take at least 2 years if not longer.
I would recommend Iterable to any SDR, but if the goal is moving into an AE position, be prepared to commit.
