Mediocrity thrives at Insperity so, if you're an average salesperson can make a career here if you simply suck it up and follow the rules. At first, Insperity seems like a great company but, you soon realize that in Sales, as a BPA, you are lead generation for "old" sales reps who take half your potential commission. Insperity won't let you close a deal on your own for some time so, you end up splitting commissions with "old" sales reps for the first 2 years or maybe longer. Also, their sales technology (CRM) is garbage. Likewise, the internal technology systems that run Insperity are archaic.

Each office is it's own culture. You work with your team on an island away from everyone else. So the people on your team heavily impact how your experience is going to be. If you can grind it out the sky is the limit for comp but one bad hire can destroy your office culture.

My overall experience has been good but not great. There's a saying that employees don't usually leave companies, they leave managers.
