I just have to figure out how to get out of here without damaging my career and my reputation with my customer network. I’ve never worked for an organization that is so un-self-aware and led by so much toxic leadership. The Enterprise and Strategic sales leaders slow deals down with their awkward hare-brained ideas and micro-management. If you don’t tolerate this you are targeted and at risk of being pushed out whether you are closing deals or not.
The product is a 10 year old tax and licensing solution that is priced at a premium. Almost every existing customer using this solution will not be a reference as they are very upset with the poor performance and support.
GovOS is a sinking ship that is on fire and the current captains (especially the CRO and Enterprise and Strategic sales leaders) think all they need to do is wait it out. The several leaders and instrumental people (customer success, support, product development, CEO, etc) who have jumped ship just this year already are one of many indicators that GovOS is a dangerous place to risk your career and reputation.
