New leadership is ratcheting back the compensation structure in a way that will make it much harder to extract value for sales overachievement. The “annuity” type incentive for selling long-term contracts is also being winnowed down.

This is the only organization I have ever worked for where your commission check is 100% dependent on operations, not sales, to deliver the proposal and quote review.
