As far as D2D jobs go, this isn't the worst. The culture isn't bad and there is genuine interest out there for Google Fiber. But very few people hit their quota and turnover is high. Also, internal promotion is rare nowadays. The targets are unreasonable. Overall if you're looking for something short/medium term to earn some cash while you find something better it's not a bad option.

My overall experience has been fulfilling while working at Google Fiber. I enjoy how the company brings the "Googley" culture to the ISP space, which tends to be an 'old school' industry.
