My experience at GoCo.io was disappointing, especially after my manager left and sales oversight shifted to the VP, whose micromanagement and limited experience hindered the team. Pricing issues, lack of sales support, and a challenging, siloed environment made it difficult for reps to meet quota, and eventually, the SDR team was let go. Leadership, including the CEO, showed little involvement in resolving these core issues, leaving the team without clear direction. I would recommend waiting to join until new sales leadership and better support infrastructure are in place.

Awful place if you're in sales, in lead gen or AE. AEs average around 15% close rate, with deals around 3-4k. Vp of sales is incompetent and has no idea what he's doing. Great product with low market presence. Low inbound lead flow and super saturated market makes it difficult to hit quota. Comp structure is also more complicated that it needs to be and has caused churn. Overall I have faith in the product but leadership needs to make major marketing changes and listen to their AEs
