Back to ReviewsFormer Employee GitHub has taken a step back from 2-3 years ago. The culture has changed into more of a classic sales org (managers tracking calls, emails, etc), quota attainment is trending downward especially within mid-market and SMB. Earning potential has drastically been cut down and incentives are changed on a half-yearly basis in order to avoid sales reps earning too much in commission. Management has gone downhill as they've stopped promoting from within as much and instead have opted to bring in outside managers in order to meet DEI requirements. GitHub is also experiencing product performance issues (you can read GitHub blog posts about this) as they've spread themselves too thin. GitHub is still a solid company, but there are far better opportunities out there in 2024 and beyond when all factors considered. Browse Other Reviews
