Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee I am in the HT/LE division selling into tech companies to help them create better products and bring them to market more effectively and efficiently. This has been a very good company to work for. Gartner really delivers exceptional insight and advice in most technology areas. Their sales methodology is very detailed and thorough, one of the best I’ve seen. However, if you have an account whose technology isn’t covered in depth by Gartner, you’re kind of SOL. It is also a very expensive license and requires consistent usage in order to justify it to be renewed. If your accounts are struggling businesses who have been laying people off and trying to save money wherever they can, selling them six figure licenses is extremely difficult. Another downside is the variable compensation. Your base is high but so is the ceiling. Don’t come here thinking you’re going to make $1M, because the #1 rep might make half of that - tops.
