I believe Frontier Communications has an opportunity for growth. But it has to invest in its own infrastructure. As a seller, you can spend so much time selling a product, but if engineering cannot come through with the delivery of the product, the company fail, and the reputation a large amount of the time is tarnished in relationships can be severely damaged.

Place is an absolute disaster. They promise the world to candidates to get them to join the org. The company then acquires the candidate’s book of business and fires them once that runs out. No leads. They recycle the same trash leads over and over and raise quotas because of the “new” leads. No verticals outside of Gov. Leadership is a joke, just a bunch of paper...Read More

My overall experience with FTR was below average. The compensation plan gets cut every year and they are auditing every deal that closes, attempting not to pay the AEs.

Not coherent in any form or fashion. We were put on 5 different teams under 4 different managers within a year, had been given 4 different compensation plans to sign throughout the year, and then when they couldn’t fill the manager position after half the team left they laid off the rest of our team.

It's...disorganized. The job req changed during the hiring process, showing the top end of the range being $10k more. The training was subpar. The leads are legit bad, not vetted well at all. My overall experience was awful. I have never worked at a company that micromanaged people like they were lazy when the product/market fit was bad and back office was disjointed. The few people who made quota were the ones who were tenured and fed by their managers. The people who do decent numbers surf thru Salesforce to upgrade existing accounts bc its way...Read More

Illinois market was difficult to break into as many competitors with Fiber funding from Goverment and shared Fiber for smaller clients. Success was with larger orgs with needs for diversity

Frontier has potential but leadership is really transactional/ smb minded where you are micromanaged, there is no lead gen, and have terrible resources to properly manage an accout.

I worked there during a difficult time of transition for the organization. With that said, I was given a ton of autonomy to make the business my own. I received great direction and support from my direct supervisor, but ultimately, the product had many challenges.

The people are the best part of the company. Everyone is very nice and welcoming. However, the systems and processes contradict each other which is frustrating. No one understands the comp plan. Only 25% of the reps in all three roles make quota and its always the same people.
