Fortinet’s culture is tremendous. The main challenge is macro vs. micro focus. The second closest challenge is the perception, fair or foul, that Fortinet is a hardware company first, security firm second.

Initial experience was good and was sold on a the company culture. The people are great but the system is broken as the BDR department is are not aligned with Sales Team. This is most likely due to the fact BDR's are under marketing and not under the sales department. Unlimited PTO is not as advertised. For a while it was but now it's Flexible PTO based on tenure....Read More

New executives came in and created changes in Q3 2023. They laid off almost all BDRs and marketing teams supporting SMB sales, significantly reducing inbound leads. In addition, quotas rose significantly without much justification. Only 30/155 SMB reps hit quota in Q4 2023.
