My role was "senior sales executive" but in reality most everyone at FedEx is an Account Manager - farming within the large number of exisiting accounts. Great job/company if you are happy making your salary and small commissions/quarterly bonuses here and there. But FedEx is not a place where "the harder you work, the more money you will make." They are just not set up in that way.

Internal discount agreement negotiations could be improved and streamlined. There are several layers of complexities when it comes to discounts and it can make it difficult to perform well
