Back to ReviewsFormer Employee FareHarbor is a great company as a whole. They have great benefits, a productive culture, and are flexible. The base salary for sales is basically minimum wage with commissions based on the success of the companies you close. It can be lucrative, but you will start with the smallest businesses that will earn you little and you are not allowed to deviate from your assigned leads. The main negative I have is the misleading first year OTE numbers published on the job listing and claimed during the interview process. $100k OTE is not even remotely realistic for your first year at FareHarbor, even for the top performers. You will also make 95% of your commissions during the summer so your winter will be slim. Overall, FareHarbor is a good company with a great product and they do care about their employees, but I believe they should be more honest about OTE numbers especially since their base is not a livable wage.
