The employees are intelligent but the Sales team holds the most power in terms of what gets prioritized when several departments have suggestions for how to enhance the product. The focus was always on bringing $$$ in but not balancing priority on how to keep the clients happy and renewing.
PMF has been an issue for years and the quality of deals that the AEs land can be large but, again, no focus on how to keep ARR.
Crunchbase data is fantastic specifically as an affordable & domestic data source but the data isn't as thorough as Pitchbook and, as a Sales Prospecting tool, Crunchbase was truly one of the last on the scene and cannot seem to get it together on how to beat out top competitors like Apollo.
